it’s a winner,
this is my 1st soundbar…so i can’t compare it with any others
but i am VERY impressed with the sound on this unit
the bass is very crisp and solid and the mid and top end are
very well produced…giving a very good sound picture indeed
very straight forward to set up as well..i’m using the optical link
from the tv…although this unit is ARC ready my tv isn’t
turned down the sound keeps it.s body and doesn’t lose anything
turned up… well..i,ve got neighbours so i had to stop when my armchair
started bouncing about it,s still crystal clear ,,no distortion at all
still lovely and crisp…so as you may have guessed by now i,m a very happy bunny
i can recomend this to anyone who likes good sound without spending
stupid money on it ..go for it..you won’t regret it
now one or two not so good points
the speaker wires are WHITE…yes..WHITE!!!!!!!…why why why ???
and there’s no dock
there are no connection cables with this either..just power and speaker wires
which are W H I T E!!!!!!!did i mention that c,mon panny when everything is black
we don’t want WHITE!!! rant over
i bought this on another site for about £40 less than here
and i’ve got a bargain..would happily buy another no prob
so if your dithering..don’t ..buy this you won’t regret it

Pleasantly surprised.. Buy one!!!,
I had a rather dull and old Samsung dvd home theater kit with 5.1 surround from a few years ago. I didn’t switch it on much and hated the mess the wires had created. I bought a projector 2 weeks ago and bought this Panasonic to go with it. It is a very neat looking unit. And now I don’t want to switch it off. I didn’t know what to expect as there were no reviews available at the time other than two from a German website. The first thing I noticed is how well the voice gets delivered. The unit does a brilliant job of separating it from the other sounds in the scene so you can always understand what the people are saying. The sound effects are delivered brilliantly as well and the sub-woofer does a great job of only making an appearance when it is needed. I didn’t like my last system where the sub-woofer was constantly kicking in and dominating the proceedings. Now when the sub-woofer makes its appearance felt, it does make an impact on the scene. If you want a system where the sub-woofer will shake the whole house, this is not for you. But if are looking for crystal clear sound, great voice delivery and a sensible sub-woofer, you will not be able to fault this unit. I am very happy with mine.

Impressed,
I’ve been doing quite a bit of research on soundbars recently and I eventually settled on this Panasonic. I’m glad I did. No, it’s not a substitute for a surround sound system. What it is though is a fantastic upgrade for the wholly inadequate speakers that come with modern flat screen televisions. Quality sound with a decent bass and as a bonus it responds to the volume controls on my Samsung TV remote control. Concerts sound excellent, and a quick try of Avatar made me feel like I was in the cinema. I can’t ask for more than that.
If you don’t want the hassle of wiring up 5.1 speakers then this is a good alternative. Definitely recommended.
