Product Description:
FULL HD 3D Blu-ray Disc Home Cinema System. The Anti-Distortion Speaker features an uneven thickness for the rear surface of the speaker cone. This uneven thickness serves to suppress resonance, to produce clear sound with minimal noise. A Wi-Fi system is built right into the main unit, so you can enjoy VIERA CAST and BD-LiveTM content without having to connect the Blu-ray DiscTM player with a LAN cable or wireless LAN adaptor. *A wireless LAN environment is required. VIERA CAST with Skype lets you enjoy real-time visual communication on a large screen with faraway family and friends by displaying their images on the TV. Let the Panasonic's Skype-compatible Home Cinema expand your range of communication from the living room to the world.

Good replacement for my 5.1 system,
I bought this item as my 5.1 Philips home cinema system had given up the ghost. We use it in a relatively small room so the extra surroubd sound channels were not that critical. I was more concerned in having the flexibility to use multiple sources and that it be blu-ray compatible. With that in mind it has done everything I wanted to date. I have not tested the internet source yet. Only gripes to date is it does not handle flv file extensions and also some converted flv files. It is also quite slow to offer the menu for USB based devices.
